INDIA IS SO HOTTER THAN 30 YEARS AGO : REPORT BY INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TROPICAL METROLOGY ( IITM )
IITM ( Indian institute of tropical metrology ) said that over the last three decade India's annual mean temperaturte is increased a lot at a rate of 0.16, 0.17, 0.14 degree celsius .
The report was submitted by Earth sciences minister Harsha Vardhan under the topic of "climate changeover india" yesterday .
IN this 30 years Indian landmass is consistently icreasing hotter and hotter at the rate of 0.16, 0.17, 0.18 .
IITM is autonomous body under MoES .
The report says annual tempertaure increase is at a rate of 0.6 degree celsius from 1901 - 2010 .
the monsoon rainfall per annum is also decreased significantly .
The number of dry days have increased and the number of wet days is decreased .
The Indian Metrology Department ( IMD ) announced that 2016 as the hotest year in India's history ever .
