BRAHMOS CRUISE MISSILE
Brahmos is an short range supersoni cruise missile made of ramjet engines . It can be launched from land , submarine , ships . It was combined production of russian scientists and indian defence research and development organisation ( DRDO ) . It is based on the russian P 800 oniks cruise missile and other sea skimming russian missile technology . The name brahmos derived from russia's capital moscow and indian river brahmaputra .
So, far brahmos is the fastest missile in the world . It can't be intercepted by any missile in the world except another indian missile called barak missile . Brahmos travel at a speed of light and hits target with higher accuracy . After india being member of MTCR india and russia jointly planned to develop hypersonic brahmos 2 missile with a range of 600 km plus distance .
