                                      HAL tejas was developed by Hindustan aeronautics limited to indian navy and air force . Tejas was single seat , single engine , light weight combat air vehicle . It is developed under make in india project introduced by prime minister Narendra modi .

  
HAL tejas is indias second self made combat air vehicle created with more advance technology . Tejas was rejected by indian navy due to its over weight and looking for other alternative . The maximum payload capacity of tejas is 4000 kg . Tejas made its international debut on jan 2016 .
